Our Story & Mission
🎾 Our Story
Over the years, playing across clubs and public courts, we've met so many incredible players who are passionate, competitive, and always eager to improve. But one thing kept coming up: it wasn't always easy to find great matches or well organized tournaments. Like many others, we found ourselves constantly searching, sometimes even traveling to other cities or countries, just to get more opportunities to compete.
One Sunday afternoon, after returning from a tournament trip, a simple idea came up: what if we built something ourselves?
As players who love the game, we set out to build a platform for the community we care about.
SixBagel was born.
SixBagel is a free, transparent, and community driven platform where players can:

- Join ongoing pickup matches
- Connect with players at a similar level

We want to provide a platform where players can step beyond their usual circle and become part of a broader, more diverse tennis community.
With a focus on fairness, simplicity, and trust, we aim to remove the friction from organizing matches by replacing scattered spreadsheets and group chats with a system that just works.

We believe great tennis should be easy to access. Finding a high quality match shouldn't mean paying high entry fees, committing entire weekends, or traveling far from home. It should fit naturally into your life: simple, flexible, and competitive. We want to bring the local tennis community closer together and make competitive tennis more accessible, consistent, and enjoyable, with more opportunities for meaningful matches through tournaments and pickup play.
By lowering the barriers to competitive play, we hope to help more players step on court, challenge themselves, and enjoy matches that matter. At the end of the day: more time playing, less time organizing.
