Rankings

Ladder rankings

  • Default view ranks all players by total ladder points: the sum of singles and doubles.
  • Use the drop-down to switch between rankings by category, gender, Rising Stars (largest combined-rank gains in the last 30 days), or longest win streak.
How rankings work

Your total ladder points are the sum of your singles and doubles standings:

Singles and Doubles are separate unified ladders — all competition months count toward the same bucket (there is no indoor/outdoor split on the ladder).

The leaderboard displays your combined total first, then the singles and doubles breakdown.

Inactivity decay

After six months without a scored match in a format, inactive decay may reduce that format's points by 5% per month (floored at the starting baseline). Pickup and tournament matches both count as activity when ladder tracking applies.

Ways to Earn Points

Your rank is built through consistent play and tournament success. Points are awarded in two ways:

  • Match Points: Decisive matches result in Elo-scaled adjustments. Whether it is a tournament draw or a Pickup Game (with ladder tracking on), your points are determined by the quality of your opponent. Accounts created on or after 5/1/2026 (UTC) use K = 40 (instead of 25) on their first 5 match-result adjustments in each of singles and doubles, then the usual K thereafter. Close matches with any tiebreak in the score use the full win bonus and half the normal loss for the loser (minimum −1).
  • Tournament Bonuses: Official events offer extra rewards for deep runs. You earn bonuses for Knockout Round advancement and a Champion Bonus for winning a title.

Note: Walkovers qualify for advancement points, but "Byes" do not.

Important Details

  • Pickup Games: Points only apply if the host enables Ladder Tracking. These matches contribute to your base points but do not offer tournament advancement or title bonuses.
  • Win Streaks: Ranked by completed matches (decisive scores only) and are not limited to the seasonal rolling window.
  • Ranked vs unranked: Players with at least one completed match are ranked and listed above players who have not played yet (starting baseline only). Unranked rows show "Unranked" in the # column; place numbers count only ranked players.
  • Rising Stars: Compares your current rank on the combined total leaderboard to your rank on the same basis 30 days ago (UTC calendar dates). The rolling 12-month window shifts over time, so rank can change from points earned and from the window moving. Only players who moved up in rank are listed; the table shows how many places they gained.

Filters:

  • Category Filter: Shows only the points (and baseline) for that specific bucket.
  • Gender Filter: Narrows the list based on player profiles. If no gender is set, players appear under "All Genders".

When you're signed in, your ladder totals and ranks appear on your player profile. This page is only the public seasonal leaderboard.
